The highly
anticipated teen music drama “Dream High 2” found its
principal in actor Kim Jung Tae. Local news agencies report
that the senior actor is confirmed to join the cast of the idol drama. Reports
say he will play the fictional Kirin High School’s president and principal Lee
Kang Chul.
The
announcement of Kim Jung Tae’s place in the cast comes just after the
announcement of another cast member. T-ara’s youngest
member Jiyeon was only recently confirmed to join the cast. Thus far, Kim
Jung Tae, Jiyeon and Park Jin Young,
who is returning from the first season are the only confirmed cast members.
As earlier
reported, 2AM’s Jinwoon, Sistar’s
Hyorin and Kang Sora are very strong candidates
to play the lead characters, who are students reaching for their dreams.
Casting is expected to finish soon, though, since the drama is slated for an
early 2012 broadcast, with the first episode scheduled to air on January 30.
